The KTLA150 is part of our latest generation of top loading electric kilns, developed using decades of experience in kiln design, manufacturing and servicing. Building on the success of previous models, this range incorporates improvements in construction, energy efficiency, performance, safety and ease of maintenance.  The KTLA150 combines quality components, practical features and reliable performance in a compact kiln suitable for educational institutions and professional studios, and is a cost-effective solution for any sizeable creative project.

   Class leading insulation featuring 76mm lightweight insulating firebrick backed by a 25mm ceramic fibre blanket. This combination provides excellent heat retention, improves energy efficiency and helps reduce electricity consumption with every firing.

   Pre-oxidised Aperam 145 element wire (Kanthal A1 equivalent), engineered with low watt loading to extend element lifespan, improve durability and reduce replacement costs.

   Considered the gold standard for high termperature measurement, S-type thermocouples offer exceptional accuracy, stability and durability.  Unlike conventional K-type thermocouples, they are designed to withstand repeated high temperature firings with minimal deterioration, providing a significantly longer service life and reducing the need for replacements and ongoing maintenance.

   An additional layer of protection designed to reduce the risk of over-firing, helping safeguard your kiln and valuable ceramic work.

6. Advanced Stafford Digital Controller with Wi-Fi
   Featuring 32 programmable firing patterns with up to 32 steps per program, providing precise control over your firing schedules. Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to check on your kiln remotely through the Stafford app.

   Pre-set firing programs take the guesswork out of firing, making the kiln easy to operate for beginners and experienced potters alike.

8. Integrated Lid Safety Switch – Safety Comes First
   An adjustable safety switch isolates power to the heating elements when the lid is opened, providing an important additional safety feature.
