These lead free Underglaze Pencils are ideal for drawing fine lines, naming your work, outlining designs, sketching or shading, labeling test tiles… so many practical and creative possibilities!

Pencils provide the artist stability & flexibility to sketch both fine lines and broad strokes with better control than liquid underglazes, with less mess & no drying time.

Usage Tips:

• Designed for use on bisque fired clay.
• Use a little water & a stump to blend and shade - or to fix mistakes. 
• When you’re finished, dust lightly with a soft brush to remove any excess, and then apply a clear glaze to seal it in.
• Recommended Firing Temperature:  1100°C – 1260°C
