Description
Fired to 1200C.
This compound, like tin oxide, can be used as an opacifier. It tends to produce cream colours as compared to the white effects of the tin. It has a mottling effect on colours and glazes very similar to that of rutile. Rutile can be substituted for it if the iron content is not a problem.
