Description
Fired to 1200C.
A metallic compound used commonly as a colourant to produce greens. Used in combination with tin will produce pink, with zinc oxide will produce brown. Bright reds can also be produced in low-fire high-lead glazes which are low in alumina content.
It has no effective subsitute.
